First Walk

This was our first walk in our new stroller with both the girls. Emma cried at first but once we got moving she fell asleep. And Allison only stayed in the stroller until we got to the walking trail and then she wanted to run free.

Playing Dress Up

I am convinced that Allison is going to work in the fashion industry someday. She is a trend setter!

Skinny Girl

Allison found a pair of Emma's pants (size newborn) and put them on...and they fit around her waste! They are capris on Allison and pants on Emma but still Allison is very tiny around the waste. It's great they can already share clothes :)

Blessed

Today while both my children were napping ( I tried to nap but could not fall asleep no matter how hard I tried) I had a chance to reflect on how blessed I am. I have a wonderful husband, two beautiful daughters, a stable income, a nice place to live that is filled with nice things, family, friends, Health...the list can go on and on. I also realized that I haven't been as grateful for my blessings as I should be and that is something I want to change, especially since all of those wonderful blessings could be taken away in the blink of an eye. I recently found out that my old roommates father was in an accident and is now paralyzed from the neck down, A once active vibrant man is now confined to a wheelchair or bed for the rest of his life. I was so sad for him, but then I realized even under such circumstances he still is so blessed. He has the love and support of his family and family is the greatest thing we have!

Don't forget about teething

I know having a new sibling can make a toddler act out and be grumpy, but Allison has been so emotional. She will just cry and cry for no apparent reason. It about breaks my heart. However last night while I was brushing her teeth I noticed that one of her molars has come in and two of the others are starting to apear. At that moment I realized why Allison has been so miserable, her poor little mouth has probably been hurting. I have been busy adjusting to a new baby that it never dawned on me she could be getting teeth. So I gave her some teething tablets and she seemed to perk right up and she slept all the way threw the night.

This is Hotel Indigo Ben's new project...well tenative project. We won't know for sure for another 3 weeks, but it looks like we will get to stay in San Diego. Still...keep your fingers crossed just in case.

Gas Bubbles

Who knew that having gas could look so cute!

Just moments after these pictures were taken Emma had her first diaper blowout. It was a 5 wiper job and I think we may have ruined an outfit...so much poop from something so small.

Pacific Coast Harmony

Ben has the privilage this week of keeping the PCH trophy from their last competition. They took first at districts and now they are off to the division competition at teh end of the month in Pheonix, AZ. I personally think the trophy is a bit much...(gold AND silver and possibly one to many figurines!)
