What I have been crafting...

Honestly I haven't been doing much crafting since I just moved and then went on vacation. But I did make a birthday banner and 2 pillowcase dressed for my girls to wear over their swim suits. Both were super easy!

Tea Time

Just before I moved my friend Kailey had a tea party for Jenni, Cortney, and myself. It was fabulous she knows how to do a tea party. We all dressed fancy with our gloves and hats...it was lots of fun. I most enjoyed spending time with such wonderful women. Thanks Kailey for such wonderful memories!

Neighbor

My girls just adored our neighbor Melanie before we moved. So far we don't know any of our neighbors here but I am pretty sure they won't be as great as Melanie. Thanks Melanie! We miss you!

Found It!

I found my wedding ring tonight...it had been lost for over a week. I am SUPER happy to have it back, I really thought it was gone for good. When I was laying in bed I told Ben to look on the top shelf of the bookcase just to check and see if I put it up there and maybe it got pushed behind some books. Sure enough it slid out from between some books. Happy Day well night actually...now I can get a good night sleep, Hooray!

Day Trip with my Girlfriends

On July 3rd me and my two best girlfriends from high school decided to take a day trip and drive the 101 loop. It was a great day for it and I had lots of fun catching up with the girls. I absolutely love this picture of our feet. It shows just how different we are sometimes I think its funny we stayed friends but I love that we have.
These pictures are from Ruby Beach, we all have July birthdays so we had to stop at our "birthstone" beach. There was some amazing driftwood and I loved all the smooth rocks. I found a couple rocks that look like hearts.

This is us being goofy in the big logs outside the Timber museum.

We couldn't do the loop without stopping to see all the Twilight points of interest. It is crazy how the small town of Forks is capitalizing on Stephenie Meyers books. I enjoy the books and it was fun to be silly and pose for pictures with two of my best friends.

This is our self portrait at First Beach.

This is also at First Beach. It was a gorgeous day.

I loved the fog that surrounded the little islands. It was so beautiful I could have stayed all day.
Thanks girls for the great memories we will have to do it again soon!

Decorating Our New Home

Allison asked me to come see how she decorated her bathroom and this is what I saw... It cracks me up how she "decorates". She wouldn't use her toilet for the whole day because she didn't want to move her decor, I finally convinced her less was probably more when it came to decorating the bathroom.

I love glass grapes!

Some people may think I am silly for this fact but I do love glass grapes. I have been wanting some of my own for a long time and I finally stumbled upon some at a garage sale about a month ago. Most of my relatives who have glass grapes have orange or green ones but I found these bluish-purple ones and I love them. Now I just have to find the perfect place to put them.

A few pics from last week

We went for an afternoon walk to the temple I love being so close to this amazing place.
Allison insisted on bringing her scriptures and she wanted to read...I think this is such a cute picture.

This is the view from our front porch.

She may look cute but check out the wall behind her...she colored all over the walls with a red marker her sister left out. I hate to tell Crayola this but their washable markers are not washable on flat paint...GRRRRR!

Missing my backyard

I planned to post these before we moved but I didn't get a chance and now it makes me miss my backyard and garden. I am sure the new tenants are enjoying my squash and tomatoes. Hey at least I got to eat most of the broccoli before we left.

Family Pictures

Before we moved my sister took some family pictures for us. I like how they turned out so here are a few of them for you to see...

Yes I am alive!

I haven't posted in awhile...moving has been a bit crazy but now that I finally have Internet I will be posting what we have been up to the past few weeks. So stay tuned I promise to post something soon.
