Christmas Vacation

My Christmas in Washington was wonderful, it was even a white Christmas! We stayed with my parents and my sister and her family came up as well. Allison had lots of fun chasing her older cousin Elijah around and she also liked to argued a lot with her other cousin Ian who is just 2 months older than her. It was cute to hear the kids ask "is that my baby sister?" since my sister and I both have new babies and we were usually holding the other one.

On Christmas eve we had our usual smorgasbord of food that the kids helped prepare (apparently I still need to teach Allison not to play with her food.) The kids also got their new jammies, they looked so cute! We also all enjoyed lots of hot chocolate while we were there. I had forgotten how much I love it, and Ben said he never knew that about me either...I guess we still have things to learn of one another even after 4 years of marriage.
Christmas morning was fun, Allison loved her Luciana barbie doll with matching dress in her size. She also liked her stacking dolls I like them too, maybe now she will leave mine on my shelf! Ben got the i-pod he wanted and I got everything I asked for and then some. My mom made me a quilt for my bed, it is beautiful and I can't wait until it is completely finished. My mom took the grand kids to the dollar store to pick out a gift for their parents, Allison got me some plastic grapes...I thought it was cute and I actually love grapes, I used to be obsessed with the big glass grapes that my great aunts had in their homes. Emma spent the morning in the bumbo seat chewing on her new toys and trying to avoid being buried in the wrapping paper.
It was a great Christmas season and I am glad I got to spend it with my loved ones I am so blessed to have so many people who love me. I am also glad for the true meaning of Christmas and that Jesus was born to save the world!

Christmas babies

Here are some of the Christmas pictures my sister took of Emma and her daughter Adeline. I love how Adeline looks like she is shooshing Santa. The other picture is of me and all the kids on Christmas morning, aren't they cute kids?

Fun in the snow

As some of you may know we are spending the Holidays with my family in Washington and to my surprise we actually had a white Christmas. Allison loves the snow, but her coat was so big it made her fall over so now she has a huge bump/bruise on her forehead. This didn't deter her from going out again we did have to buy her some gloves though because she had to defend herself in the snowball fight.

Photo Shop

My dad had a lot of fun with photo shop as you can see from the babes in space!

Matching Outfits

Ben's Grandparents brought the girls Christmas gifts over last night and since we aren't going to be here for Christmas we let Allison open them. They were cute little sweatshirt/pants outfits. I think it is so cute that they match...I love having two girls!

Craft blog

Allison was helping me come up with fun projects to put on my craft blog, I am trying to get lots of ideas using wrapping paper since I am sure we will all have lots of it in a week. These pictures are of our glueless collage. For those of you who don't know my kids craft blog is www.craftykidlets.blogspot.com

Beautiful Baby

Fun with the McDavitts

A few days ago Meagan, Preston & Kyler came over to play. Allison actually wanted me to put a bow in her hair so she could look pretty for Kyler. It was fun to see the kids play together, they are so cute!

Also this week Allison went to another little friends house while I did my visiting teaching and she came home and said "Harrison has issues." I laughed and then wondered where she has heard someone say someone has issues?Maybe I have said I am having isuues, anyways it was funny. And Mollie if you read this I don't think Harrison has issues!

Chocolate Temple

This isn't the best picture because I took it from the car but I had to post it. When we drove by this wonderful building the other day Allison said "look mom it's the chocolate temple!" I was laughing so hard I missed my exit.
Allison also crawled up on my bed while I was putting Emma down for a nap and said "mom, you are impossible!" I later realized she picked that up from the Barbie Nutcracker movie.
I love having children there is never a dull moment!
