Wide Open Spaces

The kids had one awesome grass fight in the huge field next to the tulips last Saturday. They ran around and giggled and I enjoyed watching and being filled with Joy. I wish everyday could be that good.
Tag your it!

Allison just adores babies and Naomi is one of her favorites.

Emma was in Heaven having so much wide open space to run.
Even though Sadie was sad after Payton stepped on her toes this picture is just too cute.

I love Emma's fish lip face.
Allison isn' t happy in this picture but Emma was giving me a big hug.

Tulip Festival

Last Saturday The girls and I took a day trip to the Tulip Festival. Our friends Jenni, Payton & Sadie rode with us and we caravanned with our other friends the Teeples. It was a beautiful day and the flowers were gorgeous and all the wonderful pictures below were taken by the very talented Jason Teeples...Thanks Jason!

The Smurthwaite Girls

The Terrific Teeples

The Wonderful Warners...(Mark is wonderful also but he was sick)

One of my new favorite tulips...I hadn't ever seen ones like them...they also come in pink!

These are the tulips I brought back.

The inside of one of mine...did I mention I Love Tulips!?!?

The Many faces of Allison eating her popcorn
Little Buddies

The kids had lots of fun running down the rows of Tulips

Allison found this flower on the ground and I told her it was as big as her head and this is how she responded.

My little Emma.

What a Looker

This is how is what Allison chose to wear around the house the other day...she had to try out her new leotard and boots! Oh yeah and her dad's glasses added the perfect touch.

The Bellevue Botanical Gardens

These pictures are from a couple weeks ago when a bunch of us Mom's took the kids on a walk at the Bellevue Botanical Gardens. It was a beautiful day and all the trees were starting to blossom. So the kids snacked on popcorn while sitting under a "popcorn" tree. We even sang the song popcorn popping...if you don't know it just ask Alli to sing it sometime .

The kids have been playing duck, duck, goose a bunch lately but they have their own rules. When someone is tapped as the goose they all jump up and run around chasing each other...it is pretty cute!
We even got a picture of the Moms, it is so nice having such awesome friends. We were just missing Brandi who met up with us later, we will have to get her in the next one.

Jenni took this great picture through the branches of the popcorn tree...don't you just love springtime?!?!
Emma loved the sunshine

Playing around in the Gardens...I love how dandelions are Allison's favorite flower...maybe because they are the only ones she is aloud to pick.

Joyful

New Vehicle

We bought a Honda, Odyssey today! We got a good deal and we love it. The girls liked the DVD player...they may not like it as much when I tell them they won't be watching a movie every time we are in the car. I like the automatic doors and all the space!

Ben had the day off...

so we went to the Museum of Flight! I am officailly the worst hang glider ever...I will never be going for real!
The 2 headed astronaut was pretty cool...don't you think?!?!

Allison got a little scared on the Blue Angel Simulator, but loved everything else.

We are some handsome pilots...Emma is my favorite.

The Nebulizer

Easter Party at the Park

Miss Emma...I think she gets cuter every day! She loved hunting for eggs and looking in her basket to see what she had found.

The many face of Allison...and there are more happy ones than grumpy ones...woohooo!
We had lots of fun hunting for eggs and eating yummy food with friends! Thanks Jason for taking wonderful pictures and Jenni for doing the organizing.

Easter Outfits

Grandma Thomas got these cute Easter outfits for the girls.(Thanks MOM!) I love how Alli posed herself with her knee up...so cute!
The girls LOVED their chocolate bunnies and they even seemed to like the bunnies I made for them.

My Builders

Allison and Ben built a bird house at Lowe's last Saturday. They both love to build things and I am glad they got to d it together.

Rainy Day Easter Fun

The local Mom's club had an Easter egg hunt today with crafts and food. It was a little wet but still lots of fun. We were without a car today so THANK YOU to the the Heller's for picking us up!Yummy Cupcakes! I love the ears and don't they look pleased with what they found!
Hunting for eggs...it was nice that the eggs were filled with stickers, bubbles, balloons, play dough, bouncy balls...all things non-candy...I think that cupcake was enough sugar for today!

Multi-tasking

I really needed to give Emma a bath yesterday but we were running out of time and she was taking forever eating her sandwhich...or not eating it is more acurate. So I decided I would give her a bath and then let her eat later ,But she would not put down her sandwhich! I could see it was going to be a battle so I just let her hold it. Funny thing is she ate better in the bath tub than she does at the table.

Easter Centerpiece

I like growing wheat grass around Easter for a fun centerpiece...this year I thought I would try it in a tea cup. I think my grass needs a trim...Allison loves how fast it grows, every morning she comes out and comments on how huge it is getting.

Thomas S. Monson

My wonderful friend Cortney recently taught me how to embroider...I love it! I am sure Ben is thrilled that I now have one more crafty thing I love. Anyways... I asked Alli to draw a picture of our Prophet, Thomas S. Monson this weekend during conference. I took her cute little drawing and traced it onto some fabric then I put my new embroidery skills to work. I wanted a really good picture so I tried to explain to Alli that people don't have scribbles for eyes they have color in the inside and a circle like shape around them...that's why it looks like he is wearing glasses...still cute though! My personal favorite is his necktie.

Picnic Dinner at the Park

While the guys were at Conference we (the wives and kiddos) were enjoying the beautiful weather at the park. Here are a few good shots of the fun we had...
Aren't these girls just stinkin cute?!?!
Emma didn't want her "coke" on.

Allison was queen of the mountain...but not for long here comes Katelyn.

Allison on the slide...I love how her shoes are on the wrong feet!

Emma LOVES to slide....
