Gingerbread Houses with the Welckers
Tonight for Family Home Evening we had the Welckers come over for dinner and gingerbread house making. Allison had lots of fun feeling Robyn's baby kick...if only he would come out and play:)
The frosting started out a little runny but eventually it hardened like cement!
The Welckers in all there sticky Glory!!!

The Welckers in all there sticky Glory!!!Oh Emma!
There is NEVER a dull moment with miss Emma around! She can get into mischief faster than anyone I know. I may have to start taking her to the bathroom with me since that seems to be when she plans her most crazy stunts.
And this beautiful mess was from today when I was helping Allison get dressed. Luckily it was washable marker and it came right off...phew!
Ornaments Galore
Allison and I made these fairies for the kid ornament swap we signed up for through the Crafty Crow. The theme was Fairytales this year.Perfect for me!

Santa Claus
Ben took the girls to visit Santa at the mall yesterday. Emma wasn't quite sure what to think but no tears! Allison just loved the whole experience look at how happy she looks?!?! If you didn't notice I cut Alli's hair a few days ago and now it doesn't really curl any more...just at the ends it curls out. I am sad to see the curls go but she looks so cute with her shorter hair. And check out Emma's outfit she is wearing jean Capris over her other pants...stylin!

Poinsettia
Yesterday I picked up my new dishes that are a Christmas present from my mother. I know it isn't Christmas yet but I unpacked them and put them away so I didn't have a huge box on my kitchen counter. In between each of the bowls were these wonderful cardboard pieces...they were practically screaming at me to make something out of them. I thought they would make perfect flowers...perfect poinsettias to be exact.
I painted the cardboard red and then the girls helped me put glitter on the middle pieces which we cut from red construction paper. I love them! So if you are spoiled and are getting new dishes this Christmas keep your eyes open for the cool cardboard pieces that make awesome flowers.
