Swimming, swimming in the swimming pool...

where days are hot and nights are cold, in the swimming pool. Breast stroke, side stroke, fancy diving to, oh wouldn't it be nice if their were nothing else to do!

Pictures of the week

So I went through my random pictures from this week that haven't made an appearance on this blog yet and I picked the two that describe Allison and Emma the best for this particular week.

Allison: Well as usual her hair is amazing! and her face says it all about her attitude this week. I love her strong spirit even though it gives me a run for my money some days.

Emma: She always has something in her mouth much to my dismay, I can't let her out of my sight for a nano-second. and she sits up on her knees all the time which I think is super cute with her chubby little legs.

Emma Update

Emma loves taking baths, she squeals with delight and shakes her arms up and down when she even sees the bathtub. She still puts everything in her mouth as you can see and she wants to eat everything...baby approved or not. Her bottom teeth FINALLY broke through the gums, they still have a ways to come before they will be noticed.
Today at Disneyland a guy smiled atEmma on the tram and she waived to him. I have been trying to teach her bye-bye but she always just shakes both arms but today she just raised one and gave a cute little waive. She has become quite the crawler and Allison is still the only one who she will belly laugh for...Emma just loves Allison.

Disneyland and California Adventure

So I did it...I took both my kids to Disneyland all by myself! Usually we go with my friend Jenn who is always so helpful with Allison and Emma but yesterday and today I did it all by myself and everyone is safe and accounted for ...go me! Thanks to our friends the Welckers for letting us stay at their house so we could go for two days with out extra driving.

Allison had a great time we watched the Enchanted Tiki room show, she liked the girl birds but disliked the totem pole things with the scary eyes. Another favorite was the play area that squirts water...good thing we did that last she was soaked. We saw Mary Poppins and Burt but Allison wasn't in the picture taking mood on day one, but day two we caught Mickey, Minnie, and Pluto as they first came out so there was no line.

I must have worn Allison out she slept in the car on the way home and then fell asleep on her chair when I brought her inside. When we were leaving today Allison said "Disneyland is sad, don't worry Disneyland I will be back next week!" it was so cute!

Time with Ben

Having Ben home all the time is so weird! It is great, I love it and I know it won't last forever so I am trying to relish in it but I just can't get used to it. The girls love seeing their daddy and I love seeing him play his guitar and hold the kids. The cheesy photo of us was taken by Allison she loves taking pictures.

Allison is really into letters and shapes right now so the other morning we were making ourselves into different letters and shapes. On the top row she is an X and a Q(that's what she said!) and then just a cute pouty face. The middle row is A, L , and her version of a triangle. And the bottom row is T, U's, and just some cute kiddos!

Time out for Women

Today I finally got to use my Christmas gift...tickets to Time Out For Women.! I was supposed to attend in February but because of President Hinckleys funeral it was postponed until today. I am actually glad it was, I can't think of a better way to spend the Saturday before Mother's Day. The speakers were wonderful, I loved the music and the bag this year was pretty cute. I even got to attend the afternoon portion without Emma, it was perfect!
