I found out recently that my sister is moving to Idaho, I am of course bummed because I just moved closer to her and I haven't had that much time with her and her family. Also I just lost my favorite photographer. But I wanted to write down how greatful I am to have such a wonderful sister. She is fun (most of the time) she lives for a good photo oppurtunity. Her laugh cracks me up she almost can't breath when she gets going. She loves to help others around her and even manages to keep her house clean (I still don't know her secret on that one) I cherish all my memories growing up with her (except the ones where she would beat me up) But the good ones almost make those dissapear. I love you Sis and I hope your new journey in life brings you more than you desire. You better come back to visit or else!

Farmer's Market
Our Play Room
Well the play room is almost completely put together and I think it is fabulous! We couldn't use it the first 2 weeks we lived here because it is an attic and well it was CRAZY hot! But now that the rain has cooled us down a bit it is the most wonderful room. There are two cubby holes that Allison loves! One has her dress up clothes and the other has her doll house and baby stuff. When the girls are older I am sure they will want to sleep in them...I hope we can stay in this home for a long time...I love it!Pies in a jar...how cute!

I saw this wonderful idea of making pies in small jars so I decided to try it. The first batch actually came out the best of my 2 batches and I learned a few things along the way...If you only put one hole in the top crust it will overflow like a volcano....and I am only good at making apple pies the rest tasted a little off, of course I didn't use a recipe for the filling which I SHOULD have! It was a fun project but I think I am going to steer clear of pies for now and try zucchini bread and cake in jars instead!!

A few pictures of our home
So as you can see they didn't paint the house green it stayed blue...yipee! The living room used to be yellow, not just any yellow it was several shades of baby poop yellow that had been sponge painted on...I think you will agree the new color looks better. Don't look to closely at the blinds new ones are being installed this week.I am having to learn lots of new things about yard care since I actually have a yard to take care of now. Our new neighbor Melanie planted a garden for us and I am trying not to kill it. It has been very hot so I have been doing lots of watering.
Portrait of me
I almost forgot I had a blog!
We are finally moved into our new house...well new to us, it is actually a charming old house with lots of space. So the reason I haven't been blogging lately is our computer broke along with our television and my cell phone...needless to say it was not our month with electronics. The good news is that our hard drive from our old computer was fine so I still have all my files and pictures...yeah!
I have done so many things that I think are blog worthy in the past weeks that it may take me awhile to blog them all but here are a few pictures to start...The first picture is of Emma's unique eating style...no hands! The next one is of a pillow I made for my friend Tim who is getting married this month, then there is Alli with Ronald. Finally Emma sitting on the book shelf she loves to climb on anything and everything...very very brave!
